As we get closer to ICCBR 2021, we have decided to hold the conference as a hybrid virtual-physical event, allowing participation regardless of an individual’s ability to safely and easily travel to Salamanca.
- Virtual: Participants who are unable or would prefer not to travel to Salamanca will have the option to attend and present virtually. We will provide a virtual option regardless of any future changes to international travel and health conditions.
- Physical: To the extent we can safely hold an in-person event, participants will have the option to attend and present at the physical conference venue. In the event that holding an in-person conference is infeasible due to restrictions, health/safety concerns, or low expected in-person participation, the event may transition to a purely virtual conference. We recommend postponing travel bookings until we have confirmed that an in-person portion will take place.
The International Conference on Case-Based Reasoning (ICCBR) is the premier, annual meeting of the CBR community and the leading international conference on this topic. Researchers will present the latest results of their work and discuss future directions of the field.
To encourage this, the ICCBR 2021 program will include keynote addresses, a main technical track, a workshop program, a doctoral consortium, and other events, with several connections to this theme. We warmly welcome participation from all researchers and practitioners who have interest in case-based reasoning, including those who are working on related topics but have not previously attended ICCBR.
